Autumn is here! Leaves change colors. We welcome inviting weather We eat delicious recipes.
Theres nothing like pumpkin carving and seed eating at the cusp of fall.
I have shared my recipe for roasted pumpkin seeds. This simple recipe is suggested for first timers. Fancy recipes are for more acquired tastes. If you have a toddler like mines, the simple the recipe the better!
1/4 cup butter
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Wash your pumpkin seeds coming fresh from the pumpkin itself. If you are getting store bought seeds, no need for washing.
Dump dry seeds on roasting pan
Sprinkle 1/2 of the 1/4 cup of butter on the seeds
Coat seeds in butter and spread evenly on baking pan
Place pan in oven (in middle tack) for 15 minutes (seeds will start to turn brown)
Repeat step 6 with remaining butter on seeds And place back in oven for another 10-11 minutes
Take seeds out. Sprinkle salt over. Allow to cool until warm and enjoy!
